Shipping Policy – Capital Metal Works

Capital Metal Works ships precision-fabricated automotive components throughout the United States and internationally. Because many of our products are custom-built or produced in small batches, all shipments are handled under the strict guidelines below.

Order Processing Times

  • Standard in-stock products typically ship within 3–7 business days.
  • Custom-made and made-to-order items have individual lead times listed on their product pages.
    These timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on workload and material availability.

Orders do not ship on weekends or holidays.
High-volume periods may extend processing times.

Shipping Methods

Capital Metal Works ships through reputable carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
The carrier used will depend on:

  • Package size and weight
  • Destination
  • Contents of the order

We do not guarantee delivery dates under any circumstances.

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

Once an order ships, customers will receive an email with:

  • Tracking number
  • Carrier information
  • Shipment details

Tracking updates may require 24–48 hours to appear.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address.
Capital Metal Works is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses
  • Lost packages due to address errors
  • Reshipping fees for returned or undeliverable packages

Any additional costs associated with correcting address issues are the customer’s responsibility.

Free Shipping Terms

If an order qualifies for free shipping:

  • The original shipment is covered by Capital Metal Works
  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, as outlined in the Return Policy

Free shipping is not available on all items, and eligibility may change without notice.

International Shipping

Capital Metal Works ships internationally to select countries.
Customers are responsible for:

  • All customs fees
  • Import duties
  • VAT/GST taxes
  • Clearance fees
  • Any charges imposed by the destination country

These fees are not included in product pricing or shipping charges.

All international sales are final.
No returns, refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are accepted for international shipments.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once a package is transferred to the shipping carrier, Capital Metal Works is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages
  • Stolen packages
  • Carrier delays
  • Delivery issues outside our control

Customers must contact the carrier directly for claims related to loss, theft, or delays.
Capital Metal Works may assist at its discretion but is not obligated to replace or refund items affected by carrier errors.

Damaged Shipments

If an item arrives damaged, customers must notify Capital Metal Works within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  1. Photos of the damaged item
  2. Photos of internal packaging
  3. Photos of external packaging
  4. Photos of the shipping label

Failure to report damage within 7 days may result in claim denial.
Capital Metal Works will determine the appropriate resolution based on the Return Policy.

Split Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on availability, warehouse location, or production requirements.

Customers will receive separate tracking numbers if applicable.

Shipping Changes After Ordering

Capital Metal Works cannot guarantee changes to a shipping address once an order has been placed.
Requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis, but once a label has been created or a package has shipped, no changes can be made.
